“In our current capitalist culture, which will be clamoring at us for the next month especially loudly, threatened as we are by would-be fascists, being grounded in gratitude, this kind of gratitude for the abundance beneath us, is a revolutionary act, reminding us that we do not live in scarcity, that scarcity is caused by some hoarding abundance.”
