“What would it be like if the world looked at the Church and saw us as a school for learning how to belong to each other well? This is our high calling: to be known not by our rightness, but by our love; by our attentiveness to one another and one another’s needs; by the way we show what it means for human beings to belong to one another in honesty, and kindness and humility; to belong to one another in love and hope. This is the calling of the Church, and the gift the Church has to offer to the world.”
